Hi! I am Kaila!
The person behind HairColumn that loves hair and embraces the beauty and craziness of life! My everyday focus behind the chair is “lived-in” hair color and hand-tied extensions. I am your go to for that, “my hair naturally grows this way,” look. I am certified in Invisible Bead Extensions, the most luxurious hand-tied technique on the market. My other passion is styling hair for weddings and photoshoots.

I created HairColumn as a place to share my love for hair and the fullness of what life has to offer. It’s something I try to embody everyday because why not enjoy the life in which you live in? Making people feel beautiful and uplifted transformed my career into a passion. My everyday focus behind the chair is “lived-in” hair color and hand-tied extensions.I am certified in Invisible Bead Extensions, the most luxurious hand-tied technique on the market. The times I am not behind the chair in my salon I am styling hair for weddings and photoshoots. I have 13+ years experience styling brides and models.
Always hungry for change and growth lead me to seek opportunities for continuing education to help further my knowledge and expand my expertise. That’s how I found my love for education both as student and teacher. It wasn’t until I found Davines, a family owned, biodegradable and sustainable company based out of Parma, Italy, that I then began spreading my passion to others and became an educator for Davines in 2017-2021. Educating allowed me to teach and inspire other salons and stylists to enhance their skills and career, all while taking care of our planet at the same time.
I have been a hair stylist since 2007 where I graduated from The College of Cosmetology in Klamath Falls, Oregon. I lived in Bend from 2012-2018 and moved to Eugene, Oregon in October 2018. I am servicing clients behind the chair in the Eugene area along with styling hair for wedding and photoshoots across the states and beyond.
Outside of my career I am an avid adventurer. I love spending time with family and friends including my husband, Alejandro, and my fur babies, Chaos, Beija and Bandit. I am a traveler and explorer of the globe, live music junkie, major foodie, outdoor enthusiast, pretend interior decorator, reader, tea drinker and lover of connecting with people.

Hi! I am Sonya!
After becoming a hairstylist, I learned very early on that my passion lies within hair color, but my specialties are blonding and brunettes- bold, subtle or as natural as possible. I was certified in Invisible Bead Extensions in 2023, which has enhanced all of my services. I love making people feel beautiful and seeing their confidence boost as they sit in my chair.

Growing up I had no idea what I wanted to do career wise. I went from wanting to work in a zoo, social worker, hairstylist, police officer, dentist, and back to a hairstylist. I have always loved doing hair for friends and family in the comfort of my own bathroom, which made my personal hairstylist convince me to give beauty school a chance, because of her, I’ve been hooked on this career ever since.
I graduated from Tangled Ends in Keizer, Oregon in 2022. I started at HairColumn as an assistant, commuting back and forth from Keizer until my move to Eugene in 2023. I have a love for education which pushed me further to dive into Invisible Bead Hair Extensions, a highly sought after specialized hair extension service. I was certified in 2023 and am very excited to continue to advance my extension service offerings.
Any free time that I have, I love to spend it by reading, cooking and baking. Enjoying the outdoors, camping or even just river days with some music, friends, and good food.

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn!
I specialize in all areas of blonde and dimensional color, and I am certified in Invisible Bead Extensions. If I am not in the salon you will likely find me onsite for weddings and photoshoots.
I have always been drawn to the beauty industry and every aspect about it. I love all things beauty, but hair was the one thing that I was most passionate about! It was a no brainer to have a job based around making people feel good about themselves & the added bonus of truly enjoying what I do each day at work!
Fun Facts:
I am a dog mom to a golden doodle named Bentley.
My fiancé and I are planning a Mexico destination wedding for 2025!
My go to cocktail order is a margarita on the rocks with extra salt around the rim.

I am born & raised Eugene, Oregon. I attended University of Oregon for a year prior to following my dream of doing hair. I went to cosmetology school at IBS in Eugene and graduated in 2023. I immediately started at HairColumn as an assistant and moved my way up to a stylist.
The industry is constantly changing and growing. There’s always a new product, technique, or trend. Learning new things by continuing education is super important to me. Currently I am enrolled in The Blonde Chronicles University, which is an online education platform focusing on color and all things blonde. I am always keeping my eyes open for classes and new things to learn.
Being in love with hair naturally lead me to enroll in Invisible Bead Extensions as my chosen extension method, as it is the most highly sought out extension method in the industry that highly focuses on scalp health. I started my training in 2023 and became certified in January 2024. Being an extension artist has fueled my love for the industry more and I am ager to see where this journey takes me.
When I’m not at the salon I am spending time with family & friends, online shopping (creating carts that I won’t purchase) , scrolling on social media, trying new restaurants, & planning the next spot to travel to!

Hi! I am Kaylee!
I specialize in a wide range of colors from natural to vivid and I’m always open to unique ideas, looks and color combinations. If you have hair on your head that wants to be colored, I am ready to color your hair!
Growing up I always admired the beauty and art industries and the different sciences and techniques that make it what it is- I knew I wanted to be a part of it! I love that I can make something beautiful and make others feel happy!
My next educational move with be becoming certified in Invisible Bead Extensions and styling for weddings and photoshoots.
Fun Facts:
I love cheeseburgers especially from In n Out- what I miss most from my California home.
I have 2 small rescue dogs named Jack and Kona.

I was born and raised in Fresno, California. I attended Paul Mitchell the school of Fresno in November of 2022 and graduated November of 2023. I moved to Eugene shortly after graduation and am now a licensed cosmetologist in both California and Oregon.
Growing up I always admired the beauty and art industries and the different sciences and techniques that make it what it is- I knew I wanted to be a part of it! I love that I can make something beautiful and make others feel happy!
I came to Eugene to be with family and start my new journey in a new environment and experience what Oregon has to offer.
In my free time I really enjoy shopping, long road trips, being at the beach and trying new restaurants.

Hi! I am Gina!
I’m a cutting specialist with an emphasis on curly cuts. I love creating low-maintenance, lived-in cuts and hair coloring that work with your lifestyle and hair texture — looks that grow out easily and only require as much styling as you want to do.
As I continue to grow as a stylist, I hope to add extensions and bridal styling into my practice as well.

I’ve always loved all things beauty. Growing up with curly hair and acne, I was always experimenting with new products and techniques in a never-ending quest for perfection, and I shared my successes with friends and family. Going to cosmetology school felt like a natural step for me.
I grew up in Portland, but I settled in Eugene in 2017 after falling in love with the city during college. I attended Aveda Institute Portland and graduated in 2024, and I’m so happy to be home again in Eugene.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m probably playing games with friends or watching movies.

Hi! I am Allie!
I’m a Cutting Specialist! I have received professional training in use of the straight razor to craft effortless air-dried shags, mullets and more. I believe in working with the hair's natural texture rather than flat ironing it into submission. If you need a haircut, I am your guru!

I have been a licensed stylist for over 12 years. I am cutting specialist and have received professional training in use of the straight razor to craft effortless air-dried shags, mullets, fine hair with curl patterns 2a- 3a (Which means everything from straight to soft curls), and more. I believe in working with the hair's natural texture rather than flat ironing it into submission.
I use hair products exclusively that are minimalist, non-toxic, cruelty-free, ethically harvested ingredients, synthetic fragrance-free, refillable and recyclable packaging and-most importantly, products that are safe for our bodies.
When not at work, you may see me peddling around town enjoying a local brew or band. I graduated from UO in 2018 with a hard earned degree in Environmental Science and I am very passionate about sustainability within the beauty industry.
